Template Emails

Updated on

Christmas can be a busy time, and clear communication helps ensure support reaches those who need it most. This collection of template emails has been developed to support a range of festive activities, including hampers, gift schemes, pantomime tickets and other Christmas initiatives. It also includes templates for engaging with organisations, local businesses and community partners to request donations, funding or other support to help make these activities possible. Each template can be tailored to reflect local arrangements and specific circumstances.

Toolkit Note

These templates are warm starting points and should always be adapted locally. Replace every bracketed section, remove anything that does not apply and be completely clear about what is available. Do not promise hampers, places or tickets until funding, stock and availability have been confirmed. Personal information should only be collected and shared using the appropriate SSAFA processes.

Replace all wording in [square brackets] before sending.
