The Forces Additional Needs and Disability Forum (FANDF)

Updated on

FANDF is a tri-Service forum, facilitated by SSAFA, supporting serving personnel, reservists and their families who have a child or immediate family member with an additional need and/or disability.

The forum aims to ensure families receive the right support and provides a collective voice to influence policy and services. Families can also access support from SSAFA’s Additional Needs & Disability Advisor for advice, casework support, information and advocacy.

Members can access:

  • Support from the Additional Needs & Disability team
  • Monthly newsletters and updates
  • Invitations to events (including the biennial FANDF conference)
  • Opportunities to share their experiences through surveys and engagement work
  • A community of families with shared experiences
