The team collaborates with colleagues across our FMC directorate to cultivate meaningful and long-lasting relationships with supporters and enhance satisfaction. We achieve this by:
Corresponding with supporters to meet their needs and to nurture long-term relationships.
Providing revenue processing and fulfilment services.
Providing database support and data processing of marketing lists, etc.
Maintaining the charity’s website and some third-party fundraising platforms to create opportunities for the public to connect with SSAFA.
Providing supporter insights and actionable recommendations.
Processing of Gift Aid reclaims for the charity.

Supporter insights
Our MarComms Data Manager works alongside other employees to gather insights on our supporters and the activities they engage in. This information helps with identifying gaps and opportunities, and developing our marketing and communications strategy.
Appeals and newsletters
To keep our supporters updated on how they are helping to make a difference and other ways they can get involved, we send two cash appeals in February and November and supporter newsletters in April/May and September annually.
