SSAFA branded polo shirts offer!

In response to the feedback from the regional network, SSAFA Shop are rolling out a TRIAL discounted SSAFA branded clothing offer. SSAFA Shop has a new Volunteer and Employee Exclusives (VEE) portal, which currently includes a one-time offer of SSAFA branded polo shirts 50% discounted to £12!!! (There is also an offer for boxes of 36 x travel coffee mugs)

What you need to do

• use this offer to get your team of volunteers into a 'SSAFA uniform' of navy polos
• please note that this is a trial, which if successful (= we sell all the polos), we'll roll out other clothing and merch items significantly discounted from early Summer 2026
• to be able to offer free packaing and postage we need one order per team or branch to be delivered to a single delivery address. You can dole out the purchased polos at your next team/branch meeting for example.
• to be able to offer such a good deal, there are no refunds, you need to be 100% sure of each volunteer’s shirt-size
• note that we will be providing tracked deliveries at no extra charge!
• off the record - this is a one-time super-discounted offer, as it may not be feasible to offer ‘free-to-the-network’ stocking, picking, packing and delivery in the future, so we advise you to make the most of it.

Top tips to buy your polos asap

• collect the polo shirt sizes of your volunteers
• order at least ten polo shirts please – you may want to consider getting two polos per volunteer?
• agree a single delivery address; you may also want to have an idea how you will distribute the purchased polos to your team, at this stage.

In Community Marketing we have had to inform the volunteer network of the possibility of a SSAFA rebrand, so that the volunteer network is informed before making new product purchasing decisions especially for long-lived items like gazebos, banners, tablecloths etc.

Our Chief Executives's and FMC offices curent guidance is to continue as normal until further notice, with the rebrand not happening until possible mid-2027 at the earliest.

The move to Shopify will enable the Shop to better support the marketing and fundraising activity through product.
