Branch microsite

Updated on

Your Branch microsite was created to make your Branch more approachable to potential volunteers, beneficiaries and/or supporters. The main aim of a microsite is to:

  • make it easier for people coming for support, with multiple communication options including phone, email and a live chat option (linked to Forcesline). This means people can access support outside of branch opening hours (as long as it's 0900-1700, Monday to Thursday and 0900-1600 on Fridays)

  • help your Branch to increase awareness of volunteer opportunities, your events and internal activities. Volunteer roles are linked to the application page (on the main website) and can easily be linked from social media. The news article section allows you to showcase your events and you can share this (via a link) on social media.

  • 'humanise' your Branch. With a 'Meet the Team' section, branches have the ability to share personalised information about their volunteers, showing their personalities and making your team more approachable to potential volunteers, beneficiaries and supporters.
