What is a QR code?

A QR code (short for Quick Response code) is a type of barcode that looks like a square filled with black and white patterns. You’ve probably seen them on posters, packaging, or menus. When you scan a QR code with your phone’s camera, it quickly takes you to a website, shows you a message, or opens an app, without needing to type anything. It’s like a shortcut that connects the physical world to digital information instantly.
