Short Breaks for Families with a Disability

Updated on

What are the SSAFA Short Breaks?

SSAFA Short Breaks are activity-based holidays for Armed Forces families with a child who has an additional need and/or disability. Delivered at Calvert Lakes and Calvert Devon, these breaks are designed to be fully accessible and inclusive.

Families take part in activities such as canoeing, climbing, horse riding and archery, with accommodation, meals and activities all provided.

Applications typically open in January each year, and families are encouraged to join FANDF to stay informed.
