The Community Engagement Strategy is currently underdevelopment and will be published in late May.
The Community Engagement Strategy will cover the broad aims of our community engagement work and the role of Branches in facilitating this. Many branches already have a robust community engagement strategy for their local areas, however others may be less well established. The Community Engagement Strategy will provide a guiding base for Branches to build from and allow them to cultivate their own program of activities that best suits their community, volunteers and beneficiaries. The strategy will include guidance and resources for Branches to use where needed and will promote a unified culture of sharing ideas and best practice. This will help create a consistent and strong SSAFA message and provide adaptable support to all Branches.
