Providing support for veterans who need it the most At Walking With The Wounded, we empower veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their communities and lead independent lives.
Whether mentally, physically or socially wounded we support ex-service personnel and their families most in need. We offer personalised employment support, mental health and well-being support, and support care coordination to help veterans who are struggling after military service.
We operate a call-back system whereby an appropriate member of our team will do our best to get back to you within one working day.
Please note that WWTW is not an emergency service and operates during standard 9am to 5pm working hours, Monday to Friday. If you need immediate help, particularly outside of these hours, an alternative support might be better for you.

Creating new community connections in the North East, North West and Scotland.
We know ex-service personnel can find it tough to connect after they’ve served in the military. That’s why we’ve developed Op CONNECT, giving ex-Forces personnel based in the North East, North West and Scotland the chance to meet with veterans, get active and get involved in their communities.
Veterans can take part in different activities throughout the year. Each activity is designed to tackle social exclusion, and support physical health, and mental health and well-being.
