The FCT offers physical activity support to young people of serving or veteran families who have experienced situations such as bereavement, long term illness in the family, domestic violence, parents with PTSD. They provide amongst other things expeditions abroad, residential weeks away, they can also organise bereavement counselling, help with extra-curricular lessons plus many other situations.
It is means tested (but not via Form A) and decisions are made on a case by case basis. FCT welcomes discussions as to whether a case is one they may be able to consider supporting.
