GoAssemble only supports certain file types of images. This guidance will detail which images can be uploaded to GoAssemble.
When uploading images to GoAssemble, only certain file types will be supported by the system.
Below is a list of file types that you can upload onto GoAssemble:
- Microsoft Word: docx, dotx, doc, dot
- Microsoft Excel: xls, xlm, xla, xlc, xlt, xlw, xlsx, xltx
- Microsoft Powerpoint: pptx, potx, ppt, pps, pot
- PDF files
- Plain text files
- Image files: jpeg, jpg, jpe, png, gif, bmp, tiff, tif
- CSV files
- Video files: mp4, mov, avi
- Audio files: mp3
The file size limit of files that can be attached to messages sent within the message centre on Go Assemble is 1GB. Emails that are sent into Assemble from client's accounts with files such as supporting documentation or evidence would be limited by the individual's email client.
Notably, HEIC files (which is a file type created on Apple devices) is not supported by GoAssemble. Such files will need to be converted to one of those listed above in the supported files list.
It is recommended that you change the settings on your personal device so that images are stored in one of the acceptable file formats listed above.
SSAFA cannot recommend conversion tools or file readers as per IT helpdesk guidelines as this falls outside the support provided by the organization.
