Mosaic Attachment Naming Convention

Purpose

To ensure a clear naming format of supporting documents attached to SSAFA cases, enabling efficient identification by all parties. 

General Naming Format

Each attachment should include the surname of the client, the general category that the document falls under, and the number of pages.  A further description or date maybe required for certain forms of documentation as exampled below. 

Specific examples of common supporting documents

This is not exhaustive and does not cover all documentation, but rather provides examples of how to use the naming convention

Annex A – How to change the name of an attachment on Mosaic

When attaching a document to Mosaic, you can change the document name, if you had stored it on your chrome book with a different title.   

  • Follow the normal procedure for attaching a document.  The “attach document” box pops up: 
  • Click into the “File as” box and delete the document title:  
  • Enter the correct name for the document, following the conventions outlined above:  
  • When clicking back into the paperclip to see the list of documents attached, you will see the changed name:  
  • If you forget to change the document name at the attachment step, this can be edited later.
  • Click on the document name and the “Document details” box will pop up:  
  • Click on the edit button, to bring up the edit box, shown below:  
  • Click into the “save as” box and enter the correct information.    
  • When clicking back into the paperclip to see the list of documents attached, you will again see the changed name:
