Save the Date: NDP Virtual Town Hall in October (2 Sept)

Updated on

The below information was sent, via email to all volunteers and staff across SSAFA, on 2 September 2025.

To: all volunteers, employees, trustees

Dear colleagues,

You’re invited to join us for one of our Network Delivery Project Virtual Town Halls. We’re offering two sessions with the same content, so you can join at the time that works best for you:

  • Monday, 6 October - 1800 to 1915
  • Wednesday, 8 October - 1415 to 1530

Alongside a brief project overview and an update on the current NDP rollout, we will share the timeline for the 2026 branch migration and let you know how we are developing the Community Engagement Strategy, building on the feedback that many of you gave us on the draft version. This will also be a chance to reflect on what these updates mean for you and how the project continues to strengthen support for our beneficiaries. There will be time for questions, and we hope to see as many of you as possible. A recording will be available for anyone unable to attend.

How can I join?

To help us prepare, please register for the session you plan to attend using this registration link or click on the blue button below.

  Join us!

Registration is quick and helps us plan for the right number of attendees. If you can’t commit right now, you’re still very welcome to join on the day - we will share the meeting links at least one working day before the sessions. Registering simply means we can give you and everyone else the best possible experience.

Where can I get more information?

The NDP Frequently Asked Questions document covers a range of topics addressing questions raised during and since the trials.

The Volunteer Knowledgebase is accessible to all volunteers and employees and contains detailed information on processes and procedures for all volunteer activities.

NDP Information Hub on SSAFAnet and the NDP Information Hub on the Volunteer Knowledgebase both provide a variety of information on NDP – including caseworker feedback videos, Town Hall presentations, transition guidance and copies of past updates.

If you have further questions, please contact the NDP Project team: [email protected].

Help us plan by registering here. We look forward to seeing you there.

Many thanks,

Julie McCarthy, Director of Welfare Operations

Kett McAfee, Welfare Operations Project Manager
