This email will be sent to all volunteers within a branch to advise them that they will transition into the NDP model and their data will migrate over to GoAssemble in four weeks. The email is sent to a volunteer's O365 email and their personal email address.
Subject: Network Delivery Project (NDP) Transition
Dear volunteers,
We are excited to confirm that your branch will transition into the NDP model in four weeks, on Date Month Year.
Transition Week
During transition week our IT, Volunteer Experience, Learning & Development and Mosaic Teams will be working hard to ensure everyone is set up on our systems correctly. All volunteers will be moved onto our new volunteer management system (VMS), GoAssemble (GA).
During this week access to systems may be disrupted slightly, so please bear that in mind when undertaking your volunteer role, however we do not anticipate any significant issues.
GoAssemble (GA) – sign up for training
GoAssemble provides everything you need for your volunteering in one place – it is very intuitive and easy to navigate around.
We offer training sessions for using GA and we really encourage you to sign up for one. The system is easy to use, and these sessions will give you an opportunity to receive a live demonstration and ask questions. There are User Guides on Volunteer Knowledgebase as well, for those who can’t make any of the available dates.
**Please sign up to a session that suits you, prior to your transition date.**
To register for the course log onto your Learning Base account. Once logged in, go to the “Booking Courses” tab (top left corner of the screen). In the search bar (top right corner of the screen) type “GoAssemble” and the course dates should appear. If you are having trouble finding the course dates, please review this how to guide or contact L&[email protected].
Please note, you will not be able to log in via SSAFA Chromebook so please use your personal device.
Microsoft (MS) Office (O)365
Volunteer accounts will be closed four weeks after transition into NDP, except for branch executives and digital marketing volunteers. Volunteers who require O365 for any additional roles they hold with other services will retain their accounts.
The removal of O365 will not affect your ability to undertake your role, as you can access all resources via GA and will use the GA email for all communications.
For further information on what this means and what you need to do, please review the O365 closure guidance and Chromebook guidance on Volunteer Knowledgebase. This is particularly important for those of you who use a SSAFA Chromebook as they do not function without O365.
Mosaic
**You will not be able to access Mosaic on Tuesday XX and Wednesday XX, whilst the system is updated**
If you experience issues following migration, please speak to your regional office (RO) team for support.
- For Caseworkers:
- You'll log in as usual and access your original accounts.
- Your access levels will be updated; with edit access for stage two and view-only for other stages, as per the NDP Casework process.
- For roles that no longer involve casework, Mosaic access will be closed as part of the transition into NDP.
