SAFFA ID cards are not compulsory but can be ordered by volunteers if required. In-date, volunteer ID cards reassure beneficiaries, and others by distinguishing card holders as legitimate SSAFA representatives.
How to order a new or replacement ID card
- Attach an uptodate head and shoulders (passport style) photo of yourself to an email.
- Enter ID card request into email subject title.
- Send email to the Volunteer Experience Support team at [email protected]
- ID Cards can take up to six weeks to be received and will be sent directly to your home address.
- All volunteer ID cards are valid for five years from the date of issue and must be renewed thereafter.
New and updated cards will only be issued to volunteers who meet the requirements for their role, for example, training and vetting requirements.
ID cards should always be returned and/or destroyed at the point of leaving SSAFA.
