SSAFA encourages us all to nurture our own wellbeing so that we can fully support our beneficiaries. Our wellbeing is a complex combination of our physical, mental, emotional and social health. Essentially, it is how happy we are in life and for SSAFA, how happy our volunteers are in their volunteer role.

This page is a one-stop source of support; for internal SSAFA resources; and, for links to recommended external support.

What is ‘wellbeing’? Wellbeing is so much more than being well. Watch this short (3:57) clip to learn about The Science of Subjective Wellbeing.

By committing small amounts of time to self-care each day, over time, we can maintain, stabilise, even improve our sense of happiness in life. And when things feel a little more challenging, we can seek tailored help and support.
