Booking a course
This article will walk you through the booking process for the various types of courses SSAFA makes available for staff and volunteers. The process for booking onto a course is the same whether the course is:
- Face to face training held at a designated location
- Webinar training via Microsoft Teams
Once you have clicked on the course icon in Assemble, you will be taken to a the course home screen. Click on the name of the first module
Browse through the sessions available and decide which one you would like to attend. Click on the Register button beside the session chosen
The screen below shows that you have been registered on the course. You now have the option to do the following: -
- Unregister from session
- Download Calendar (to save the session to your outlook calendar)
If the course has multiple modules (like the Caseworker Webinars), you will need to book onto the session for each module separately. This is the reason the Previous and Next buttons are shown. Clicking on Next or Previous will take you to the next/previous module in the course, making it easier to book them all.
- Click 'Download Calendar'
- Double click the icon that opens in the bottom right hand corner of screen
- Click 'Accept' when you receive the meeting invitation to your personal email account
- The appointment will be saved in your calendar along with the meeting link
Exiting the course
- Click 'Exit' to close the course
