Our Long Service Awards signify and celebrate the years of dedication and support our volunteers have provided for our beneficiaries and for SSAFA. All volunteers are eligible for this award based upon their years of service.
Long Service Awards are awarded based on the length of volunteering service for SSAFA, this is measured on a 5 year basis going up from 5, 10, 15 etc. All Long Service Award recipients will receive a certificate and a badge that designates the number of years served according to the 5 year measure.
The certificates are printed and distributed annually, to the relevant branch or directly to the recipient, usually in March.
There is no requirement to nominate or request a Long Service Award to receive one.
